Have you ever noted how computerization totally revolutionized air travel and hospitality in the 1990s and 2000s? The man to thank is New Jersey native Nicholas Bredimus. This innovative man has found work in many areas, from the designer home design sector through a study of safety in the air and software programs to save manpower and time. Not only that but, in all cases, his passion is evident.
We all love to dine out but it gets expensive. I have compiled a list of ways that I have saved money on restaurant meals. There are no super secrets in this list but I think it's a pretty useful tip sheet. I hope you find it helpful. We should be able to just go to some super discount Website and ask for a hotel room and get the best possible rate but it doesn't work that way. What I have found is that you have to game the system or really play by their rules. I'll explain both methods below. You may not remember what happened to Enron's employees but I do. When the company went out of business all its employees lost their life savings in their 401(k) plans. Now the Enron plan was extreme because the employees were required to invest a lot of their retirement money in the company's stock. I don't think companies can force employees to do that any more. I am not really into using coupons. Maybe I can save more money than I do with coupons but I don't want to spend a lot of time collecting coupons and organizing them. Some people excel at this and I commend them for their dedication. That is just not me. But I did find a pretty cool deal with coupons that I thought was worth sharing. The rule of thumb in credit repair and development is that you should "take out a small loan" and pay it back to prove you are a worthy credit risk. But people who advise you how to build your credit overlook a simple method for improving that score without borrowing a dime. If you have ever received a collection letter from a junk debt buyer or its representatives, you know how disgusted I felt when that happened to me a few years back. These companies buy for very little money lists of debts that have been charged off by banks and then seek to collect the full amounts of the original debts, sometimes with interest. This is one of the biggest scams working against consumers today. I've recently become interested in trading options, and my first experience was with a brokerage called Tradestation. They provided me an excellent experience, so I thought I'd write my own Tradestation review. I should point out that I signed up with them because of the detailed review of Tradestation that I found here. The sad fact is that the credit crunch and the recession left a lot of people in the lurch. Some people spent their credit limits not against the realities of the income they had, but against the rate they expected their income to rise. For a while, especially in the late 90s and early 00s, this worked - the economy was growing and income was booming. Debit cards are very popular today and I have done some research into them. I know we can get debit cards from our banks but there are so many other debit card options out there you may be overlooking them. Here is a guide to what you should do to look for debit cards without credit checks. |
